eLiveStory publishes stories about celebrities, brands, startups, business, fashion and society. This page explains the standards we follow so you know how our content is made and what to expect from us.
Our Principles
- Accuracy first: we check facts against credible sources before we publish.
- Transparency: we cite our sources and say clearly when something is unconfirmed.
- Fairness: we avoid sensationalism and present information in a balanced way.
- Respect: we don’t publish rumours as fact, speculate about private lives, or expose sensitive personal details such as health, religion or sexuality unless the person has made them public and they’re relevant to the story.
- Independence: advertisers and sponsors don’t decide what we write in our editorial stories.
Our Writers
Our stories are written and reviewed by our editorial team, including:
- Sarah Jay, journalist and fact-checker, who writes and reviews news, business, society and explanatory articles with a focus on verified facts and balanced analysis.
- Jaylin Khan, entertainment writer, who covers celebrity biographies, entertainment news, digital media and pop culture in a conversational, respectful style.
How We Research and Fact-Check
- We rely on primary and reputable sources: official statements, on-the-record interviews, court and company records, and established news outlets.
- We don’t treat anonymous social media posts, gossip sites or AI-generated pages as reliable sources.
- Figures that are often guessed online, such as net worth, height or age, are labelled as reported or estimated unless confirmed by a reliable source.
- We list the main sources at the end of our articles so readers can check them.
- Opinion and analysis are clearly separated from verified facts.
Use of AI Tools
We may use AI tools to help with research, outlining or drafting. A human editor reviews, fact-checks and approves every article before it’s published, and our editors are responsible for everything we publish.
Corrections Policy
When we get something wrong, we fix it quickly and openly. For significant errors, such as a wrong fact about a person’s life, we correct the article and add a note explaining what changed. Minor fixes like typos or broken links may be corrected without a note.
To report an error, email elivestory.contact@gmail.com with the article link and what you think is wrong. We review every report.
Updating Our Content
Stories about people and businesses change over time. We regularly review and update older articles, especially popular ones, and show the last-updated date where relevant.
Sponsored Content and Advertising
Some content on eLiveStory is sponsored, or includes paid links. We keep it separate from our editorial work:
- Sponsored articles are labelled as sponsored.
- Paid links are marked with rel=”sponsored”, as search engines require.
- We don’t accept payment to change the facts or conclusions of our editorial stories.
- We decline sponsored content that promotes illegal, harmful or deceptive products or services.
Right of Reply and Privacy Requests
If you’re the subject of one of our articles and believe it’s inaccurate or unfair, or that it includes private information that shouldn’t be public, please contact us. We’ll review your request carefully and respond.
